In this video, I want to do something different and take you on a tour of the project house we've been working on over the past year. As of today, February 2, 2021, I'll show you the current progress both outside and inside. Please bear with the weather as it may affect the clarity of the video due to the rain. Let's start the tour and see where we stand.
As we step outside, you can see that some of the scaffolding has been removed, and we've begun the block work. Unfortunately, the block work is currently covered with protection due to the cold weather and potential snowfall. The exterior will feature stone cladding, and there are specially selected cornerstones for the building's corners. I will provide a detailed video of the stone cladding process in the future.
Inside the house, we first step into the kitchen, which is still a work in progress. The kitchen features a black sink, and there will be space for a double oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, and an American-style fridge-freezer. The kitchen area will be tiled to match the flooring, creating a cohesive design.
Moving forward, we enter the spacious entrance hall, featuring a stunning oak staircase. Adjacent to the entrance hall is the utility room, which houses a tumble dryer and a washing machine. This room also has a separate entrance from the outside, allowing for easy access without bringing in mud and dirt into the main house.
Next, we enter the large living room or lounge, measuring 5.5 meters by 5 meters. The room has ample space to accommodate multiple seating areas, making it an ideal entertainment space. The lounge has provisions for a wall-mounted television, and the full electronics setup will be neatly integrated.
On the ground floor, we have a spacious bedroom with a sizeable area on each side of the bed for additional furniture. The room also has access to a Jack and Jill en-suite bathroom, making it convenient for guests.
Heading upstairs, we find ourselves on the landing, featuring a beautiful window overlooking the golf course. The high ceiling enhances the sense of space and light in the area.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both featuring en-suite bathrooms. These bedrooms offer ample space for a double bed and additional furniture.
A versatile room on the first floor serves as an ideal home office or additional bedroom if needed. The cabling has been installed to accommodate office equipment.
The master bedroom is a generous size, with substantial space on each side of the bed. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower, back-to-wall toilet, and a bath, providing a luxurious space for relaxation.
While the house has made significant progress, there is still work to be done. Exterior details such as stonework, electrical connections, drainage, and landscaping need to be completed. Internally, tiles need to be finished in the kitchen, utility room, and all three bathrooms. The final touches, including painting, fitting the bathrooms, and installing carpets, are also on the list.
Thank you for joining me on this tour of our project house. I hope you've enjoyed seeing the progress we've made so far. If you're new to the channel, consider subscribing for more updates and other property-related content. We anticipate the house to be ready for the market by the end of March or early April.
